The iCloud and Special Projects Group is responsible for the business management and strategic development of iCloud and other Apple services. iCloud is built into every Apple device so billions of Apple devices and millions of customer rely on iCloud every day to keep their photos, files, notes, and more safe, up to date, and available wherever they are. It’s one of the world’s most popular consumer cloud services. As the iCloud and Special Projects Business Manager, you work closely with internal teams to define and implement programs that will accelerate customer value and subscription growth for iCloud. At the same time, you are involved in developing the strategy, business model, customer experience and execution plan around bringing new services to life for our customers. The success of these initiatives is dependent upon leading the coordinated efforts of several key teams within Apple including, but not limited to product marketing, engineering, design, finance, sales, marcom and legal.

Key Qualifications

  • You have 8+ years of experience across relevant functions, including strategic planning, product marketing, product management, management consulting, or business development in the technology industry
  • You have experience with subscription business models and what is required to provide the best customer experience while delivering revenue impact for the business
  • Ability to organize and lead large cross-functional teams
  • A successful track-record and proven experience for launching products or initiatives from conception to launch
  • Ability to translate business needs to feature/product designs
  • A natural aptitude for translating data into insights, with the ability to influence new strategies based on these insights
  • Strong presentation skills, both written and verbal, with senior executives
  • Deep understanding of iCloud and Apple’s hardware, software and services ecosystem


Work with Apple’s engineering, product marketing, design, finance, and international teams to define programs that grow iCloud subscribers, revenues, and contribution Articulate the iCloud value proposition and its position within the Apple user experience to a wide range of constituents both internally and externally Assume accountability for subscriber growth and revenue objectives Work with internal teams to develop and bring to market new service opportunities Develop insightful industry, market, and user trends analysis and communicate with the organization regarding their strategic implications Identify barriers to international adoption of iCloud and other services; collaborate with cross functional teams to develop solutions, and implement programs to address such barriers Manage multiple simultaneous projects across multiple team

Education & Experience

BA/BS required; MBA preferred
