But we believe we’re just getting started. We are looking for a curious, creative, and analytical individual that is excited to help the App Store think different. You will support growth initiatives across the App Store. In this role, you will work closely with the App Store teams to understand their key programs, identify metrics to measure impact, and create quantitative approaches that facilitate accurate and efficient modeling and reporting. In addition, you will collaborate with teams across Apple to pinpoint opportunities in new and existing service lines and develop the strategic and financial rationale to evaluate these opportunities. In time, you will be expected to develop a reputation as a trusted and strategic thought partner not only across the App Store, but also with external business partners.

Key Qualifications

  • 4+ years experience in strategy and/or finance, preferably in software technology or related sectors
  • Intellectual curiosity coupled with thorough and rigorous critical thinking skills
  • You have extraordinary quantitative skills with high proficiency in Excel (Tableau & SQL experience a plus)
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Proven ability to build trust and influence in both internal and external relationships
  • You possess the ability to balance work quality, shifting priorities, and high pressure deadlines
  • A focus on understanding the problem rather than answering the question
  • You have demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Description

As the Business Planning and New Initiatives Analyst, your responsibilities will include: - Self-directed, in-depth research on market dynamics within and adjacent to the App Store’s business - Designing and building financial models to forecast the impact of product, policy, and partnership decisions - Identifying key objectives and associated metrics that help the business focus on those objectives - Creating robust conceptual frameworks that combine empirical, theoretical, and visual approaches to guide the App Store’s strategy - Synthesizing quantitative and qualitative evidence into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for executive audiences - Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree preferred
