The POI Ops Special Programs team works to achieve the most complete, accurate, rich and up to date set of Points of Interest (POI) data around the world. This is done both dedicatedly (active curation of POIs) and reactively (a customer reported issue) curating data to ensure the best experience for our customers. They are seeking a highly-motivated professional to solve problems, respond to customer issues, recommend corrective action to engineering teams both on the data and tool end. The SME also provides status updates as necessary and serves as the liaison between POI Ops teams around the world and the various Maps multi-functional partners.

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in a technology-related operations, customer support, project management, investigations, analysis, or equivalent environment
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work in a highly multi-functional environment and build relationships across the organization
  • Handle multiple, concurrent assignments, tight deadlines, changing priorities, and deliver results with limited supervision
  • Passion for quality, high attention to detail, and enthusiasm to develop deep product knowledge
  • Excellent analytical skills, structured thinking and experience with breaking down complex problems and driving execution
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude in high stress and multitask in an extremely dynamic environment
  • Flexible, adaptable, proactive and self-motivated
  • Language skills and experience working with Maps are a plus

Description

In this role, you will work with the POI Operations teams around the world, Tools Engineering, DataScience and Maps multi-functional partners to: - Investigate and resolve complex POI/ Brands issues reported through radar/ email by POI Ops and other multi-functional teams - Review and resolve issues submitted through the Report a Problem (RAP) queue - Handle POI curation requests resulting from Executive escalations - Drive data analyses to evaluate findings and develop data driven recommendations - Support enthusiastic curation requests from multi-functional teams - Engage with POI Ops teams to support continuous learning, feedback and tool enhancement - Ideas to improve efficiency and quality - Support team members with coordination of POI projects and initiatives

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree preferred
