Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it. We are looking for a People Business Partner to join our team in San Diego. In this role, you will partner with the leadership teams of a number of business units across the San Diego location, for corporate-based employees. Based on the business strategy and deep diagnosis of internal & external trends and the overall People strategy for San Diego, you will builds and execute the People Strategy for and be the ambassador of the global People vision. A significant part of the role will be (but is not limited to) the successful integration of the acquisition of Ibex teams.
- 8-12 years experience in an HR management and/or business partnering role.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills, including influencing and coaching senior leaders.
- Highly collaborative and flexible style. Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional and matrix organizations, both as a lead and a supporting team member.
- Ability to coach, mentor and advise where appropriate to help managers and employees grow and develop in alignment with business and personal goals.
- Comfortable using analytics with the ability to interpret and provide meaningful insights.
- Agility to navigate and thrive in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
The work of the PBP is systemic, leverages resources from Apple’s wider People eco system, facilitates plans and provides an aligned people vision for each business unit / location. You will work as trusted advisor to different senior leaders and provide solutions and recommendations in the People space. This strategic partnership role is essential in driving leadership capabilities and supporting the leaders in creating a culture, the organization, leadership styles and the inclusive environment necessary for people at Apple to do the best work of their life. Drives the People strategy to meet the short and longterm needs of the relevant business - and of Apple Diagnoses trends for the organization and adjusts the strategy accordingly Finds ways for Managers and Senior Leaders to create meaningful connections with their team members and with each other Creates an exceptional employee experience while building a plan through data and observation Consistently assesses the organizational effectiveness of all aspects of the employee lifecycle Is seen as trusted and knowledgable member of the leadership team of the organization(s) s/he supports Guides Managers and Senior Leaders making people decisions and fostering an inclusive environment of performance and innovation Works across the different LOB’s (HWT, SWE, IS&S) in the San Diego location and across different locations as per the relevant LOB’s needs
Education & Experience
Requires BA/BS. An advanced degree in Organizational Development (or related) is preferred
