As part of our Sales Planning and Operations group, you and your team will be responsible for delivering Apple technology to consumers, enterprises, educators, and governments in more than 80 countries. You’ll apply your abilities for strategy, planning, and execution to devise operational solutions. You’ll act as a fearless self-starter capable of encouraging innovation in the planning process. Together, our sales group is dedicated to achieving success by developing exemplary training programs, digital merchandising, staffing, and in-store technology. We are looking for an outgoing professional with high analytical capacity, creativity, and interpersonal skills to support the US Sales Organization. The position requires the ability to understand and work with complex data sets in order to drive insights. The position will work cross-functionally with sales, finance, ops and technical teams to help develop dashboards, conduct analyses and improve processes for senior sales/finance executives.

Key Qualifications

  • You have 2+ years consulting or financial/business operations/data analyst experience
  • You have proven experience conducting complex, data driven analysis
  • You have advanced spreadsheet and data modeling skills
  • You have strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to articulate results of technical analysis in easy to understand business terms
  • You can successfully navigate ambiguity through a large organization
  • You have experience managing and querying large datasets using SQL or other languages (Teradata expertise a big plus)
  • You have experience using Tableau (other data visualization software ok but Tableau preferred)
  • Experience with scripting and data analysis languages, such as Python or R is preferred

We lead executive dashboard development & enhancements We own the development and deployment process of new reports and create presentations, dashboards and reports to surface data for different partners We communicate the results of complex analyses and projects effectively to senior management We have the ability to go deep to understand data elements to help support dynamic and complex business needs Additional responsibilities include: Collaborating with business partners to understand their analytical needs Understanding data and data elements to help support the fast paced and complex business needs Analyzing and modeling data to unlock key insights and to improve internal processes Utilizing new methods and technologies to analyze and Apple’s business to provide new insights Assisting the sales team within CRM functionality and reporting

Education & Experience

You have a Bachelors degree in Finance, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or similar field
