In this role, you will be a part of the team that serves as the critical connection point between the business market and Apple - to not only clarify the needs of the market but also help share Apple’s story and point of view back to the market. You will have both inbound responsibilities voicing customer feedback into various product and engineering teams, as well as outbound responsibilities helping craft product messaging for business customers. You will be responsible for developing marketing programs and messaging that promotes Apple among key influencers and decision makers in the business market. You have a unique combination of technical skill, creative marketing execution, and critical thinking. You will also work cross-functionally with product marketing, marcom, PR and sales to deliver great marketing programs.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years of technical marketing, with a preference for B2B product marketing or IT expertise
  • Preferred experience working closely with technical teams to develop customer- facing content
  • Passion for business and helping users get the most out of Apple products and ecosystem
  • Best in class communication skills, ability to create and deliver compelling presentations
  • Thrives in a dynamic, collaborative, and flexible environment where no two days are the same
  • Unyielding attention to detail across any deliverable
  • Approachable personality that inspires interaction and consensus building with product marketing, various engineering teams, AppleCare, product documentation, marcom, PR, and sales management
  • Preferred experience launching or supporting marketing programs
  • Technical writing skills and creative chops are essential
  • Requires international and domestic travel

Description

-Translate the value of Apple’s hardware, software and services to business customers -Develop and produce technical materials for the business audience (white papers, presentations, etc.) -Activate and empower Apple’s routes to market with marketing programs -Establish best practices for working across industries to scale programs in 
meaningful and relevant ways -Understand product technologies and technical IT concepts several layers deep -Define and articulate value proposition to internal and external partners and customers -Work with marcom and PR on development of launch activities and marketing materials -Support new product introductions with messaging for enterprise and work with training -Be the voice of business customers and partners collecting input for future product development and messaging -Partner with internal teams to be an active advocate for the market with all product teams, influence the development on new features, and partner with product management and engineering on product positioning -Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for future products -Closely follow emerging market trends to understand how Apple products are 
best for business -Potential areas of focus: hardware products, software platforms, SDK/developer, IT features

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s Degree Required, MBA a plus
