Join Apple, and help us leave the world better than we found it Within Sales & Operations Support we are looking for an experienced, motivated, hands-on and supportive professional who will guide the Operations Team, from a knowledge, skills, empowerment and organization development standpoint. This position works closely with all departments across Sales & Ops Support to identify needs and opportunities for additional training and development. Together with the Global Training and Development Team the Manager designs, develops and delivers talent management solutions to the organization. This role will handle the talent management process and the learning experiences to support Manager and employee development. The Training Development Manager is responsible for understanding Operations business needs and make strategic recommendations to enhance organizational performance and support on going learning across Operation teams. This role is suitable for individuals who thrive in a fast paced, dynamic and evolving environment.

Key Qualifications

  • A minimum of 5-7 years experience managing training programs with visible results
  • A minimum 4-5 years managing a team of direct reports
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability to create learning plans linked to organization goals
  • Experience in a Supply Chain organization is a plus
  • Excellent planning, organization and implementation skills
  • Proven track record of successful facilitation of learning and development programs
  • Superb verbal and written communication
  • Strong problem solving abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently an in areas of ambiguity
  • Demonstrated success in managing international collaborations
  • Ability to build effective relationships in a cross-functional team environment

In this role you will manage a team who are responsible for Learning and Development Programs across Apple Sales & Operations Support. Identify leadership and management needs and develop effective training to maximize leadership effectiveness. Work with teams to enhance existing new employee induction, training and coaching program. You will provide coaching as needed to managers & team members. Ensure the proper documentation is effectively developed, stored and maintained. Monitor implementation and effectiveness of development and training initiatives. Facilitate training sessions to meet the quarterly training needs. Contribute to designing and developing the organization to ensure on-going effectiveness in support of growth while creating high employee satisfaction. Interface and work closely with internal teams in Apple Operations. Reporting and presentation of executive updates.

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
