Key Qualifications

  • Strong background in imaging, digital signal processing, estimation, machine learning, or mathematical modeling
  • Multi-disciplinary understanding of EE, ME, and Physics principles
  • High proficiency in prototyping/analysis scripting languages like MATLAB/Python
  • Experience in modeling complex cross-disciplinary systems
  • Experience with sensor interfacing, signal conditioning, and signal-to-noise analysis
  • Functional knowledge of C/C++ and compute optimization for embedded systems Hands-on experience in system-level design
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent critical analysis, statistical analysis, and logic/problem solving skills


- Develop advanced algorithms to ensure sensor system performance - Develop comprehensive, cross-functional sensor system models - Define features, develop block-level simulations of sensor modules - Develop and negotiate of cross-functional requirements to ensure module performance - Use estimation and machine learning techniques to analyze and improve sensor architectures - Develop detailed sensor module and algorithm architecture specifications - Analyze engineering and production data sets in order to reconcile system model - Author regular technical communications for executive and cross-functional briefings - Failure mode analysis, root cause diagnosis, and system-level problem solving - Sensor technology scoping and prototyping investigations - Engage and collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and Electrical Engineering, to create state-of-the-art sensor solutions

Education & Experience

- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Physics, or equivalent industry experience
