Apple's Platform Architecture group is seeking a highly motivated Controls Engineering student with a strong software background, to participate in the development of complex battery power control algorithms. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a cross-functional team developing software that will ship to millions of Apple devices.
- - Proficiency in C++ is a must
- - Experience implementing Control Systems in Embedded Microcontroller platforms
- - Deep knowledge of classical and modern Control Systems theory: optimal robust control, adaptive control, model predictive control
- - Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python/MATLAB is preferred
- - Strong interpersonal and verbal/written/presentational skills
We are seeking a highly motivated Controls Design Engineer to take part in the development of next gen battery power control algorithms. The candidate will be responsible for prototyping, tuning, and debugging of complex control systems and state estimation algorithms. The role also involves working with the software team to ensure a robust controller implementation.
Education & Experience
Pursuing graduate degree (M.Sc. or Ph.D.) in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or Computer Science with an emphasis in controls or robotics.
