Key Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering with 3+ years of work experience
  • Excellent understanding of hardware/software architecture and interoperability of complex systems
  • Prior experience with one or more of the following technologies: display, acoustic, touch, sensors, or camera, board level testing (e.g SoC, memory, power, battery) or automation control
  • Experience with technologies and tests involved in mobile devices
  • Understanding how to collect, analyze and present data to senior management
  • Prior technical leadership and/ or project management experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills including executive presentation
  • Dynamic and “can do” attitude lead product manager with the desire to work with a
  • great team and product
  • In this role, you will work with multiple cross functional teams (System EEs, module engineering, program management, operations, and more), so clear communication, organization skills and professional maturity are indispensable
  • Willingness and ability to travel: 20% travel estimate in 7-10 day trips

Description

You will architect iPhone factory test line & adhere to factory infrastructure with focus on cal/test methodology and product quality based on system specifications to ensure best out of box customer experience. Influence iPhone factory test design taking EFFA escapes into account to augment test coverage on future programs. You will own and lead the architecture, design and implementation of calibration and test for one or more products — starting from early prototypes until mass production. You will lead members of our organization to develop instruments, algorithms, fixtures, infrastructure and diagnostic software to calibrate and test our products at factories across Apple. • You will work closely with the development teams, early in the product development lifecycle, to define tests for functionalities and performance • You are the main contact concerning calibration, testing and processes for your product • You will define product test requirements. Bring up, triage and apply corrective actions on issues found during dry run and build using prototypes to run DOEs that influence critical product readiness milestones. • You will be the key liaison between our organization and our Contract Manufacturers • You will interact within our internal groups at Apple to ensure that tests are being performed adequately and on time • You will identify, analyze and deploy optimization opportunities to minimize test impact on product cost • You are responsible for communicating to executives, upper management and technical staff on the progress of our product and your test line • This position requires the ability to deal with a dynamic and rapidly changing environment requiring decision-making with ambiguous information • This position includes documentation of tests and developing/executing project plans, specifying instrumentation and diagnostics for verifying product features, specifying/ implementing process control and data collection
