We are currently looking for a study facilitator to support neuroscience research in the Technology Investigation Team. You will work with other researchers to manage the data collection process for multiple investigations in parallel. You will possess outstanding interpersonal communication skills, high attention to detail, and a commitment to conducting impactful research in support of technology development.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience conducting in-person research sessions or experience in fields requiring outstanding communication and behavioral observation skills
  • Experience recruiting/scheduling participants for user study research
  • Must be comfortable interviewing and observing people in different situations
  • Ability to work on a number of dynamic projects across a range of technologies at the same time
  • Comfortable troubleshooting hardware and software in user study settings
  • Desire to continuously develop both technical and non-technical skills
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Knowledge of neuroscience testing methods, human physiology measurement methods are helpful
  • Experience in data analysis (e.g., MATLAB), data visualization a plus


This is a hands-on data collection and study administration role. You will have the following responsibilities: Work closely with researchers to write detailed study proposal documents and present to internal stakeholders Recruit and schedule study participants Procure study supplies, set up equipment, and maintain study environment Conduct in-person user study sessions. Tasks include: administer screening and consent forms, interview and debrief participants, observe behavior, and administer quantitative and qualitative testing protocols Categorize and summarize user feedback and behavior Maintain well organized, confidential data storage for research team members Conduct literature reviews Assist in a large variety of studies, from small group investigations to large population research projects

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience, Experimental or Cognitive Psychology, Social Sciences, Human Computer Interaction or similarly relevant field required
