We build the Apple Online Store, the Apple Store app, and the systems that keep Apple’s retail stores running. We’re looking for a rockstar Program Manager to join our Communications team. In this role, you’ll provide creative oversight for our team’s design functions, help keep Apple’s 500+ retail stores informed on their technology, and shape the way the Retail Engineering communicates both internally and externally. Key Qualifications

  • A deep understanding of Apple Retail, its structure and operations (or similar experience at another high volume retailer)
  • Ability to break down complex technical subjects into plain English
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously
  • Comfort around higher management, and experience working with senior leaders
  • A keen eye for design, and familiarity with Adobe’s creative suite
  • Knowledge of video production and software
  • Mastery of the iWork suite of apps

Description

Work with Technical Writers and Visual Designers to create clear, concise, and accurate written communications for stores Act as the main point of contact for other IS&T teams to ensure each new Retail project has a consistent and thorough communications track Drive the design and architecture of our e-learning strategy with stakeholders throughout the organization Lead and involve the team’s internal bi-weekly Project & Program reviews Maintain a content calendar, clear presentation guidelines, post-review recordings and distribution of Design Review Sessions — Retail Engineering’s bi-weekly project review Ensure a consistent global application of the organization’s crisis communication program Provide guidance and content for the implementation of more self-service support options on IS&T Web

Education & Experience

A deep understanding of Apple Retail, its structure and operations (or similar experience at another high volume retailer)

Additional Requirements

  • Prior Apple Retail Leadership experience is strongly preferred
