- 4+ years relevant finance experience in a high performance organization. Knowledge of common corporate finance processes, systems and deliverables.
- Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions and competing priorities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate results.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with flawless attention to detail.
- Track record of forecasting with high degree of accuracy.
- Highly proficient in Excel. Experience with FileMaker, Tableau and SQL preferred. Knowledge of Essbase, SAP a plus.
The iTunes team at Apple provides our customers around the world with access to an incredible collection of content and experiences across music, TV, games, movies, news, apps, books, and much more. We are looking for a hardworking and driven financial analyst to support the iTunes team with detailed and meaningful financial reporting. This role will serve critical function connecting and communicating iTunes performance to the greater Apple finance organization. Additionally, this role will play a key role in developing new processes and tools to enhance financial reporting across a diverse portfolio of services. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Provide critical thought leadership in the development of the key reporting tools that drive business insights. - Be the key liaison with higher level FP&A teams, providing accurate and clear responses to ad hoc queries and status updates. - Own the headcount unit and cost forecast for iTunes. Prepare forecasts, including scenario modeling, with high degree of accuracy. Provide headcount reporting to key executives. - Drive key forecast processes for iTunes, including consolidation of cost forecast and commentary, and present results to senior Finance leadership. - Be the lead analyst on ad hoc projects in support of annual strategic objectives.
