If so, this may be the job for you. The Beats IS&T team is responsible for the technology strategy and delivery of IT systems used to enable the Beats line of business. The team ensures technology and business strategy remain tightly aligned through cross-functional partnership, knowledge of industry trends, and familiarity with the Apple corporate systems landscape. We work closely with leadership, business partners, software engineers, vendors, information security, and others to deliver systems (people, process, and technology) to meet the demands of a fast-growing organization. You will play a leading role in the delivery and operationalization of systems utilized by Beats, especially Beats Marketing, Sales, and Operations, working closely with the Beats leadership team. You will work with cross functional teams to deliver solutions to the business and serve as an advocate of the business to internal partners. A blend of business and technical acumen coupled with project management discipline is essential to the success in this role.

  • Extensive understanding of global corporate business processes and their relationship to technology
  • You understand the software development lifecycle, agile and other meaningful technology project management frameworks

  • Hands-on experience defining and documenting process flows and business requirements
  • Hands-on experience with leading user acceptance testing and change management activities in relation to technology deployments
  • Establishes achievements and meets commitments on deadlines
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills, with the ability to tailor messages and delivery based on the audience (staff to executive)
  • Able to quickly adapt to new technical and functional concepts
  • Hands-on experience leading small, medium, and large scale technology projects

Description

You will define and lead product strategy Serve as the liaison to and for the business Facilitate process and technology discussions across functionally and regionally disparate groups Run the delivery of new systems and extensions of existing systems capabilities Lead and/or participate in the development of functional requirements and technical specifications Collaborate with business partners to identify, vet, and prioritize technology needs and requirements Coordinate development efforts and solution deployment with other IS&T partners, vendors, and contractors Foster close relationships with business and other partners (e.g., information security) to ensure alignment Maintain accurate document of project artifacts (e.g., processes, training materials, requirements) Develop and maintain a working knowledge of trends and standard methodologies within Apple and the industry Evaluate options against a variety of factors and recommend long and short term strategies

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred 7-10 years related experience PMP or other project management certification a plus
