Our expert engineer will conduct quality assessment and statistical analysis for SSD and NAND products to ensure components meet Apple quality standards. You'll work directly with NAND vendors/CM sites audits. Additionally, you will be involved in formulating the Q&R requirements of SSD and NAND components to help define Apple's mass storage solutions for our current line of world-class products. You will have a direct technical impact on what our future product capabilities will be! Your proven success and technical depth in managing external supplier will make you drive items to closure across lamulti-functionalonal teams. Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years in SSD or NAND Flash memory experience
  • Expertise in Flash Quality and Reliability
  • Protocol knowledge of SATA, SAS, and PCIe interfaces
  • Logic knowledge or high-level programing languages (C, SQL, Python, etc…)
  • Experience with system level NAND flash engineering is a plus
  • Experience with semiconductor package engineering is a plus

Description

Our SSD Quality and Reliability Engineer should have past experience with most of the following activities: - Familiar with NAND physics and failure mechanism, understand usage condition and capable of developing and conducting NAND/SSD RDT (Reliability Demonstration Test) - Experience in data analysis, statistical analysis and reliability modeling. Expert in reliability analysis such as product lifetime projection, accelerated factor studies, and reliability allocations. - Experience in semiconductor system risk assessment methodology, e.g. FMEA, DOEs and Six-sigma method. - Managing vendors NAND memory qualification, manufacturing quality systems and methods, failure analysis, PCN control, MRB and lot disposition, and conducting on-site Audit - Drive vendors NAND quality/reliability target and performance to meet Apple's requirements - Develop analytical tools and quality screens to assure early identification of potential problems with new NAND product and packaging - Supporting internal engineering and management teams in SSD/NAND memory failure analysis, and defining corrective actions - Creating and maintaining a failure analysis workflow with CMs, vendors and internal team·

Education & Experience

MS or BS Degree in technical discipline
