Key Qualifications

  • Experience in supply chain planning or material operations
  • Understanding of Product Life Cycle Management tools and SAP planning/master data management
  • Extensive experience forecasting, planning, and coordinating in a highly scalable environment
  • Experience and ability to work with hardware and automation engineers to build support for metadata requirements
  • Data visualization and reporting experience in Tableau or other Business Intelligence tools highly preferred
  • Ability to extract meaningful business insights from data and identify recommendations based on patterns in data
  • Strong combination of technical knowledge, communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with a shown attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and communicate results/recommendations to a non-technical audience
  • Strong eye for business while possessing the ability to condense complex analysis and technical concepts into clear & concise insights for business leaders
  • Ability to accurately understand data elements, sources and relationships in business and technical terms
  • In-depth experience of analyzing data and building reports, working with data to identify trends and make recommendations
  • Experience in the development, analysis, and evaluation of performance in key business metrics, e.g. inventory turns
  • 5+ years of supply chain planning experience


The Corporate Materials Planner will implement and execute strategy, standards and processes for running enterprise-wide materials using supply chain standard methodologies and material lifecycle methodologies. This role will partner with the Asset Analyst, engineering and procurement to deliver improved inventory management solutions.. This position requires experience leading inventory across multiple locations to meet time-sensitive operational needs and necessitates a highly motivated individual with strong communication and project tracking skills. This position will perform analysis and facilitate reporting on data and key performance indicators (KPIs). The Materials Planner will initiate, lead and participate in projects that deliver improved operating efficiencies across functional organizations. The Materials Planner will partner with peer functions on implementing and executing replenishment strategies, including new material and sustaining spares stocking levels. The role requires expertise with supply chain management concepts - forecasting, planning, MRP, inventory optimization, logistics – gained through work experience. Key responsibilities include, but, not limited to: Build and implement supply chain strategies to support deployment and sustainment of Apple infrastructure Must be a strong teammate and have experience working extensively with cross functional teams Build and maintain supply plans and SAP master data Lead projects that advance cross functional teams operations and experiences Develop, implement, and maintain guidelines and procedures for consistent execution across the enterprise Develop and automate standard and ad-hoc reporting to support business leader decision-making Execute data analysis and presentation of results to management and business customers

Education & Experience

Minimum BA/BS degree in supply chain, a related field, or the equivalent work experience. Advanced degree or extensive work experience is preferred.
