Watch Hardware EPM

The Apple Watch Hardware EPM is responsible for the technical management and support of engineering development projects within Apple’s Watch division. The EPM will manage and lead a multi-functional team of skilled EE, SW and ME engineers. This role manages and tracks schedules and communicates risks and priorities. This EPM will follow up on day to day activities with the engineering team having the top level project goals in sight at all times. The Watch Hardware EPM role is highly technical. This EPM will utilize a solid EE/CE background to understand technical details of multi-functional issues and risks. This will enable you to set the proper priorities and put risk mitigation plans in place.
- Minimum 2 - 4+ years of industry experience
- Minimum 2 - 4+ years of project management experience
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Experience with portable consumer electronics devices
- Strong technical background
- Experience creating project schedules and work breakdown structures
- Ability to travel internationally to support builds
Lead multi-functional development teams Management and tracking of development schedules Identify and prioritize project tasks and risks Drive suppliers to integrate their work and schedules into the project Collaborating with silicon teams on off-the-shelf and custom silicon solutions Interaction with multi-functional team including PCB layout to drive development of rigid/flex board designs Communicating status and the big picture to the project team and management Project risk assessment Synchronization of the project with the Apple development process
Education & Experience
