Leading a team of Engineering Project Managers the Apple Pay Engineering Program Manager will drive our initiative to build the strategic elements of the Apple Pay stack, enabling first to market features that differentiate our products.

Description

We are looking for a manager with a strong foundation in engineering project management. In this role, you will drive development of key distributed systems in the Apple Pay stack. You have a proven ability to solve problems, an interest in continuous learning and digging deep into the domain when necessary. JOB FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: -Day to day management of a growing team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management -Handle cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through end-to-end project life cycle for all assigned projects. -Lead server integration aspects directly with one or more third party integration partners. -Oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition – this may include development of detailed project requirements in operations, finance, etc. -Run cross-functional business and operational requirements and expectations with realistic project plans. -Actively troubleshoot & resolve cross-functional and business issues. -Assist management in assessing and prioritizing projects. -Support internal and external groups. -Analyze data and report findings to management and others. -Build a strong relationship with cross-functional internal organizations. Navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of solutions. -Initiate continuous process improvements to simplify, streamline and enhance maintenance of documentation, release cycles and trouble tickets

Education & Experience

BSc or MS in Computer Science or related technical field, equivalent work experience will be considered
