Our Audio Electrical Engineering team contributes to defining, designing and integrating high quality audio electronics into all Apple products. We are a diverse team of electrical engineers with a passion for audio and music. Our day-to-day responsibilities involve working with multi-functional teams in solving tough engineering problems.
- Phenomenal EE fundamentals
- Familiarity with the design of portable low-power products, preferably with experience in a consumer electronics environment dealing with high-volume and high-quality products
- Applications background, using audio silicon
- Product background, building audio related consumer electronics
- Experience with silicon design and manufacturing (power supply, analog sensors and/or audio circuit design)
- Experience with prototyping circuits and products in a lab
- Demonstrated success in a fast-paced, high-volume consumer electronics design environment
We are seeking enthusiastic analog/system engineers for the Audio EE team to define, design and integrate audio electronics in Apple products. Your responsibilities will include design, implementation and integration of the analog subsystems (low-power, high-efficiency power supplies and audio systems) as well as new custom silicon for future products. Your work will involve schematic and layout reviews, prototype bring up and debugging, production test support, hardware bug tracking, functional verification, signal characterization and manufacturing support. You will be expected to spearhead the solving of difficult technical problems, develop prototypes to evaluate new designs, perform schematic capture and layout, perform audio performance testing and validation of designs and thoroughly document your hardware architecture and systems designs.
Education & Experience
Most of our engineers have advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent field, but if you’ve followed a different path to expertise in audio EE, that’s fine too.
