Video Applications team is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to help us build and maintain a platform that integrates Final Cut Pro with other 3rd-party systems used for television, film, and web content delivery. - 7+ years of commercial software development experience
- Fluency in macOS and AppKit platforms and technologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with XML and API design and evolution
This position offers a unique opportunity to influence the strategic direction for one of Apple’s flagship applications, Final Cut Pro. In this role, you will work with the core application team and external developers to create new APIs & services, enhance the FCPXML interchange format, and support developers who use these technologies. Collaborate with product designers and quality engineers to build specifications and test plans, write unit tests to validate your work, and contribute to technical documentation & sample code. Be a part of our team and build critical features for professional Final Cut Pro users around the world.
Education & Experience
Bachelor of Sciences degree in Computer Science or related field; Masters preferred
