Leveraging superior skills in consumer insights/analytics, strategy building, detailed execution and P&L management, the North America Marketing Lead will be responsible for the North American performance of Beats’ dynamic array of high-quality products. S/he will lead a large team and align them to the common goal of making consumers aware of differentiated Beats products while delivering a best-in-class experience for our consumers. The ideal candidate approaches challenges from a consumer-first insights and analytics perspective to learn quickly and identify the key challenges. S/he then creates comprehensive and detailed strategies designed to increase business performance, inspiring and motivating a team to align and execute the strategies. Feeling true accountability, s/he will analyze the results to determine what ongoing adjustments need to be made as Beats continues to increase consumer love and business performance. A dynamic and inspirational leader, s/he will build collaborative partnerships across the organization based on trust and mutual respect. A strong communicator, storyteller and presenter who will present to and interact with C-level partner executives and collaborate cross-functionally with Apple leaders and teams. Willing to take a servant leadership approach when needed.

Key Qualifications

  • 15+ years of experience in general management, management consulting, investment banking and marketing organizations
  • Experience in early-stage/startup and larger organizations
  • Advanced math, statistical and financial modeling skills
  • Experience with project management & operations, with the proven ability to drive strategic frameworks all the way through execution
  • Deep experience of working with sales/channel teams and retailers to drive increased product sell-through
  • Ability to quantitatively set performance forecasts and be accountable for results
  • Proven product management experience with the ability to partner with and influence product development teams
  • Extensive experience managing and optimizing media (advertising) budgets to drive measurable performance, including utilizing advanced statistics and analytics
  • Dynamic team leader with a proven track record of developing top talent and building positive cross-team collaborative partnerships
  • Best-in-class presentation and communication skills
  • Experience managing and being accountable to P&L results, driving revenue growth, margin expansion and bottom-line performance
  • Deep experience with consumer insights and advanced analytics to set strategies for market and product growth
  • Strong strategic thinker with consulting experience to develop market expansion and go-to-market frameworks


Analyze consumer demand, product landscape and consumer trends to develop short and long-term strategies for growing the Beats business across North America Partner with sales/channel team to build forecasts and align on key strategies to grow performance across retailer outlets Optimize the performance media (advertising) spend to quantitatively maximize consumer demand for Beats products Understand consumer product perception and opportunities to provide recommendations to product development team regarding improvement and expansion opportunities Manage a high-performing team with a broad range of skills, including those focused on data gathering/consumer insights, analytics, media spending, financial analysis and brand development Build trustworthy cross-team partnerships with product development, sales/channel and operations/R&D teams

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required; MBA strongly preferred
