Leading a team of Engineering Project Managers the Engineering Program Manager will drive our initiative to build the strategic project, system and tools alignment across the Apple’s services. This is a hands-on position where all our efforts connect. The Program Manager is accountable for building and managing a team that helps to prioritize, drive and manage the strategic project roadmap of the program across all of our cross-functional engineering partners. The position will work extensively with business unit representatives, the iOS program office and engineering to assess current challenges and opportunities and help evaluate the impact of these changes on resources and design.

Day to day management of a growing team, including hiring, coaching, and performance management Manage cross-functional projects by providing project leadership and daily management through end-to-end project life cycle for all assigned projects. Oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, resource allocation, scope and definition – this may include development of detailed project requirements in operations Manage cross-functional business and operational requirements and expectations with realistic project plans. Proactively troubleshoot & resolve cross-functional and business issues. Assist management in assessing and prioritizing projects. Support internal and external groups. Analyze data and report findings to management and others. Build a strong relationship with cross-functional internal organizations. Navigate and execute in an environment of ambiguity and lead teams to the successful delivery of solutions. Initiate continuous process improvements to simplify, streamline and enhance maintenance of documentation, release cycles and trouble tickets

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree desired
