The Strategic Partnership Manager will be responsible for maintaining business relationships, sourcing opportunities for the partnership to thrive, monitoring success, developing and executing plans for strategic growth for Apple News advertising. Additionally this role involves significant collaboration with various groups across Apple’s advertising organizations including: Product Development, Business Operations, Legal/Finance, Business Development, and Publisher Monetization.

Key Qualifications

  • Must have Advertising Partner Management experience
  • Prior experience in leading strategic partnerships and programmatic execution
  • Strong relationship building and diplomatic communication skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

This role will be responsible for leading efforts in the following areas: Manage the advertising revenue goals and expectations with the partner Be the primary contact for our partners and provide consultive services around campaign management and delivery Work with regional sales team internally and externally to create opportunities for growth and foster joint pursuits Understand the technical and operational requirements of our partners and work closely with the internal development teams to balance partner demands vs. long term direction of our product Collect partner and overall market feedback to guide Apple News advertising strategy Identify areas that hold back partner spend by influencing internal advertising functions Prepare and give business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress, successful initiatives and roadblocks Manage complex contract requirements and notices Analyze data and provide data-driven insights to improve our partnership opportunity Investigate and work directly with product managers to develop solutions

Education & Experience

BS or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry experience (advertising partner management, programmatic sales, digital media planning, account management, business development, publisher services and/or ad network services)
