Key Qualifications

  • Excellent at written and verbal communications
  • Strong understanding of the public safety domain
  • Passionate about user privacy and understand the balance between privacy and safety
  • Experienced software developer, in C/C++ or Objective-C/C++/Swift, git, python
  • Well versed in software design paradigms and software development best practices
  • Good understanding of network security, protocol analysis and debugging
  • Strong working knowledge of assisted GNSS call flows and experience with 3GPP location protocols
  • Hands on experience with embedded location client or server development is a plus
  • Familiarity with 3GPP (NR, 4G, 3G, 2G) or 3GPP2 protocols is a plus
  • Familiarity with public safety and emergency communications and regulations is a plus
  • Able to thrive in a dynamic, collaborative environment, and communicate effectively with multi-functional team members


Interface with public safety and public safety partners Track features deployment, coordinate field tests, and track software deliverables Manage carrier configuration changes across various carriers and supported devices Create on-device applications and tools to simplify launch and debugging

Education & Experience

Applicants should have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field with 3+ years of industry or equivalent academic research experience.
