Apple Media Products is seeking a media leader with a track record of building world-class entertainment campaigns to join their growing team. We focus on crafting a scalable brand media strategy for video and direct media planning across Music, Books, and News. You will supervise the media team and own the advertising agencies with your strong knowledge of the media landscape. This role requires fluency in current and emerging advertising techniques and marketing best practices.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 15 years of media planning / advertising experience required, with at least 6 years being related to entertainment industry and original content
  • Deep understanding of how to use media to drive awareness and tune-in of TV shows and movies
  • Experience driving customer acquisition and revenue growth through the implementation of digital and traditional media strategies
  • Exceptional understanding of digital and traditional advertising including but not limited to display, print, OOH, and digital media channels
  • Knowledge of industry planning and research tools
  • Strong collaborative and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments as well as manage internal and external partners in a dynamic environment
  • Excellent presentation skills and proficient with crafting Keynote presentations
  • Deep understanding of marketing analytics and how to optimize campaigns
  • Real passion for television and movies
  • Experience working directly with talent and creators to provide rationale for media strategy


Develop overall planning, execution, and maintenance of media plans, budgets, and schedules Own Apple Services US paid mass media campaigns, including media planning, execution, and measurement Craft a global vision for media that meets short-term and long-term business goals across a diverse portfolio of subscription businesses Build a scalable media strategy that drives awareness and viewership of original series and movies Drive innovation and implement testing strategies to continually optimize, improve performance and enhance learning Responsible for driving the media agency to provide insightful and innovative media plans Inform marketing campaign strategy based on understanding of the media landscape, media performance, and creative performance Collaborate with and present plans to senior internal and external executives Lead Media Managers and ensure they deliver work of the highest quality Stay ahead of industry trends and actively apply across media services Understand the competitive media landscape, and identify new opportunities to drive category leadership through brand media Understand and implement media attribution best practices to effectively deliver important metrics and innovate

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree required Masters degree preferred
