Apple's Technology Development Group is seeking skilled tools developers to join our team in Los Angeles, CA.

Key Qualifications

  • 2+ years of programming in a product team or similar programming experience
  • Proficient in C/C++, strong debugging skills
  • Proficient with UNIX and C/C++ build tool chains
  • Ability to work collaboratively to improve architecture, code and processes


You will have the opportunity to work in a team that builds frameworks, tools and cloud infrastructure to enable new interactive experiences. The role will be focused on identifying and solving developer workflows, build processes and automation in order to elevate the product and team. You thrive in environments where finding root causes, analyzing and measurements are used to improve processes and workflows incrementally. RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Augment and improve our bespoke developer workflow and build/delivery process - Contribute to design, software architecture and product planning - Engineer for performance. Optimize the software at all levels to hit performance targets - Help develop tools and applications using our frameworks

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience

  • - Structured and non structured database system, e.g. mysql, postgres, ELK, prometheus

  • - Desired State Configuration, e.g. Salt, Puppet or Chef
  • - Containers and Docker
  • - REST API architecture and components
