The candidate will possess expertise in corporate social supplier responsibility, operations, procurement, and manufacturing with exposure to corporate social supplier responsibility. Candidate has working knowledge of human resources, environmental and health and safety management standards and procedures.

The Supplier Responsibility (SR) Supplier Development Business Engagement (BE) Manager is responsible for the overall team strategy, development, implementation, and measurement of the BE function’s success. Program & Project Management: - Lead multiple simultaneous projects and deadlines, including communication and project planning processes - Identify and manage project timeframes, milestones, partners, and resources - Lead key communications, upward and downward throughout the organization; raising key issues, and options for resolution, with executive teams - Drive actions to improve SR performance in the supply chain through supplier performance reviews and business impact proposals - Partner with Apple SR Supplier Development Regional Managers to escalate and resolve non-compliance issues resulting from SR assessments - Lead compliance-specific Code of Conduct and standards related issues - Lead and present SR supplier performance reviews - Lead and/or participate in SR team initiatives and projects Business Partnership: - Facilitate and influence cross-functional team discussions to establish and implement SR requirements in design, manufacturing, supplier selection, and site expansion decisions - Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional teams, SR internal functions and third-party vendors to support SR requirements and initiatives - Communicate Supplier Development programs and progress internally, as well as build strategic external relationships for development program opportunities - Lead within SR and collaborate among procurement teams and other functional organizations - Inform and educate Apple personnel on SR programs, practices, and standards

Education & Experience

- Minimum BA/BS degree, MBA a plus - PMP certification desired, but not required

Additional Requirements

  • - 10+ years prior full-time relevant work experience in supply chain management, procurement/operations management, new product introduction, and/or social responsibility, preferably with a large corporation
  • - Passion for details
  • - Exceptional Excel and Keynote skills, and working knowledge of Tableau
  • - Exposure to global regulatory requirements in the electronics manufacturing sector
  • - Thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • - Sensitive to cultural differences in country/region of coverage
  • - Secondary language beneficial but not required
  • - Ability to travel (approximately 10%)
