Apple's Hardware Technology Engineering Program Management Team is looking for an inventive and high-energy Engineering Program Manager (EPM) to drive new SoC front-end methodologies that will improve the design cycle efficiency and quality. In this position, you will be the local design flow and guideline champion for all the SoC design groups. You will use your communication and program management skills to align multi-functional teams and problem-solve across multiple projects, technologies and sites.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of program / project management experience leading Silicon projects / SoC projects or a combination of Program Management and SoC design experience
  • Expert knowledge of ASIC/SoC design flows
  • Strong understanding of good logic design practices (CDC, Resets, Clocks, etc.)
  • Experience with successfully delivering multiple silicon tapeouts
  • Proficiency in Verilog and good knowledge of SystemVerilog
  • Knowledge of scripting in TCL, Perl, and/or Python will be advantageous
  • Good vision for state-of-the-art front-end methodology
  • Extraordinary teammate with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Background in successfully balancing conflicting priorities and driving results
  • Ambitious and dedicated with validated creative and critical thinking capabilities
  • Outstanding leadership skills and enthusiasm


• Work closely with design, CAD, software, and many other internal teams to define flow improvements for efficiency and high quality • Work with third-party EDA vendors to develop improvements in their tools to enable our design methodology vision • Guide development of design modules and scripts during flow implementation • Monitor flows and debug issues to support the design team • Maintain, improve, and promote good design practices • Work independently and manage deliverables to align with the project goals plus support multi-functional engineering efforts • Rolling up your sleeves and doing what it takes to get things done

Education & Experience

• MS or BS Degree in technical discipline
