Our Engineering Computer Services org takes pride in supporting infrastructure for all Engineering teams at Apple. We are seeking a dynamic, ambitious individual with deep understanding of building and maintaining the multi-tenant Confluence instance called Compass. You will provide user support to key teams such as AI/ML and Hardware Engineering. You will lead customer expectations of upcoming features and requests through Service Desk, build and maintain key documentation and possibly trainings. Ready for a challenge?

Key Qualifications

  • Confluence Administrator certification
  • Basic CSS/HTML skills
  • Content management: standard methodologies, page architecture for users Deep understanding of Confluence and other tools that tie in (i.e. Jira)
  • App Administration
  • 5+ years Confluence administration
  • 2+ years Jira administration
  • 5+ years user/customer-facing role
  • Content migrations to Confluence; Confluence to Confluence, External systems to Confluence (nice to have)
  • Can interpret and translate business requirements
  • Can administer Confluence environments for multiple team sizes
  • An excellent grasp of user features and space administration, and all the application management tools accessible from the Confluence UI
  • Understand how your choices affect the performance, scalability and day-to-day manageability of Confluence
  • Know how to take advantage of Atlassian resources and community to help your team implement standard methodologies within Confluence

  • Writing custom user macro experience
  • Comala workflow expertise (big plus)

The successful candidate will drive and provide support on systems critical for team collaboration that ship products within Apple. In addition, you will work on a tight-knit team of other Atlassian administrators to support thousands of Apple employees. Facilitate Confluence migrations by: • Setting migration schedule • Gathering and confirming all user requirements • Maintaining communication with users and development teambuilding email newsletters and other communication • Following up with users on any new developments or changes • Set processes for maintaining high quality support across all projects related to Compass Confluence. • Identify more efficient ways to meet customer’s needs through available solutions.
