The Sensor Technology team develops ground breaking sensor solutions and technologies that are central to Apple’s products. The key goal of the team is to enable the world’s best user-experience through state-of-the-art sensor solutions, such as the high-precision, low-latency multi-touch and stylus sensors in our products. Key Qualifications

  • Strong electrical engineering background in analog and mixed-signal design, especially board-level circuits
  • Hands-on experience in system-level design and NPI
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven collaboration and leadership skills


You will lead a team responsible for sensor design and integration, from proof-of-concept to mass production. The responsibilities include leading the Electrical Engineering team, as well as providing overarching direction to the broader sensor module cross-functional team. You will need to engage in early-stage sensor architecture, feature, and spec definition. You will perform and guide design tradeoff analyses, including final design recommendations. You will need to oversee and review schematic design of boards and flexible assemblies, ASIC and subsystem bring-up. You will manage the cross-functional technical development of sensor solutions, collaborating with teams including Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, and Process Engineering. You will manage and author executive communications and presentations pertaining to key checkpoints. You will help define the sensor technology roadmap, sensor technology scoping and proof-of-concept investigations. You will need to recruit and train talented engineers to build a world-class team. Business travel to support product development

Education & Experience

M.S. in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience in technology development of mass production
