Apple’s Interactive Media Group (IMG) provides the media and graphics software foundation across all of Apple's innovative products, from iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, to Apple TV, iTunes, and macOS, as well as Apple’s professional and consumer applications. IMG drives Apple’s media experiences with core technologies such as Metal, QuickTime, OpenGL, OpenCL, Core Audio, Quartz Composer, Core Video, Core Animation, and more.
- 3 to 5 years of QA/QE experience.
- Strong macOS skills.
- Excellent problem solving and deductive reasoning skills
- Working knowledge of UNIX-based systems and command-line tools for debugging, analysis, and automation
- Experienced in Bash and Python

IMG’s GPU Software Test Engineering team is seeking an experienced, self-motivated quality engineer with a real passion for making the Mac experience the best it can be. Testing efforts will target the latest technologies for Mac mobile and desktop platforms, working closely with engineering teams to ensure product quality. The test effort includes hands-on functional testing, bug reporting/regression, maintaining test guidelines, and development and execution of automated tests. The successful candidate should have a strong aptitude for learning new technologies, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to drive complex and meaningful projects. Tight-knit collaboration with engineering teams and an ability to thrive under pressure are key skills required to succeed in this role. Day to day duties: - Execute manual & automated testing, focused on Mac technologies - Support triaging of internal bug reports. - Analyze test results of automated system, conduct defect isolation by means of data-mining and comparative analysis - Provide status reports for the team, cross-functional partners, and management
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in EE, CS, or related field or relevant experience.
