- As a highly skilled specialist, contributes to the development of concepts and techniques. Completes complex tasks in creative and effective ways. Job Complexity: Consistently works on complex assignments requiring independent action and a high degree of initiative to problem solve. Makes recommendations for new procedures. Acts independently to resolve methods and procedures on new assignments. Often acts as a facilitator and team leader. Typically 2+ years of operational maintenance in mission critical environments with Building Management System operations.
Responsible for performing preventative and ongoing maintenance for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and other infrastructure systems in mission-critical, high-risk, or high-reliability environments. Skilled in computer literacy with experience in report generation and distribution to senior leadership. Experience in a critical site environment –Data Center preferred. Validated excellent verbal/written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and demonstrate excellent time management. Knowledge of electrical and HVAC systems to include: UPS, Emergency Generators, Fire Systems, and HVAC to include Chiller Plant equipment. Excellent teammate committed to working in a continuously improving, quality environment. Knowledge of various maintenance fundamentals sufficient to take care of service and repairs in a Critical Environment, with preference to Data Center infrastructure experience. Demonstrate an understanding of risk mitigation practices and their application in critical sites. Be able to work weekends, holidays, overtime as required and occasional travel within the US. Advanced knowledge of safety procedures and equipment, procedures and established techniques.

High School diploma or GED equivalent or equivalent work experience
