In this role, you will be at the center of a silicon design group responsible for systems architecture (PHY and MAC), standards activities, and physical/cross-layer algorithm design and bring up.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years relevant experience in MAC and/or PHY architecture, algorithm design, and simulation for wireless SoCs
  • Deep understanding of communication theory and signal processing related algorithms
  • Detailed understanding of MAC protocols
  • Hands on experience with RF transceivers
  • Strong working knowledge of and/or participation in wireless IEEE 802.11 standards and protocols including IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, IEEE 802.11ad/ay or Bluetooth/BLE
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to develop detailed system architecture and design documentation
  • Ability to work well across cross-functional teams


• Define & document HW architecture for cross-layer (MAC/PHY, PHY/RF) features and functionality. Covers both chip architecture and algorithms • Collaborate with SoC, MAC, PHY, RF HW and SW teams to specify the end-to-end system behavior • Attend and contribute to relevant standards organizations • Design, simulate, and bring-up of state-of-the-art physical/cross-layer wireless communication algorithms

Education & Experience

MS or Ph.D. with 10+ Years Experience
