The People Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) team is looking for a Project Manager to partner with our People teams to drive optimization through process, data and technology solutions. You should have project management and business analysis experience and be motivated, and comfortable working in an extremely fast-paced environment. Experience in working on complex technology projects either as a project manager, analyst or business analyst strongly preferred. Expertise in human resources operations, employee support and data administration a plus. Experience with Workday projects and deployments highly preferred. Flexibility and adaptability are key attributes needed for success. You should be comfortable facilitating meetings, presenting to colleagues and leaders, collecting and managing requirements, and getting hands on with technology to support project deployments and operations. You must be willing to work at both a very detailed level throughout the project lifecycle and beyond.
- 3-5 years of project management and/or business analysis experience;
- Ability to use data and analysis to drive decision-making at the project team level
- Proven and demonstrated experience as a project manager for a large, complex project track or for small-to-medium sized initiatives
- Build and deliver effective business requirements and presentations
- Passion for detail and analyzing complex requirements
- Demonstrated ability to complete multiple tasks under pressure independently
- Good communication and meeting management skills
- Human resource operations experience a plus
- Thrives in a ambiguous work environment
Manage analysis and timelines for a significant project track in a large scale, multi-year technology initiative. Partner with other project team members and project leads to analyze, design, configure and deploy new People technologies to the workforce. Support, via analysis of business and functional requirements, along with future state business processes, operational improvements within different core People business processes. Use your expertise to evaluate and recommend solutions to solve business problems. Partner with key leaders to ensure execution excellence and that solutions will meet Apple’s business and technical needs Collaborate with project and business partners and regional counterparts to efficiently detail requirements, design experiences and drive implementation activities Liaison between the business and technology groups to ensure business project needs are adequately met with technology solutions Maintain a level of constant and effective communication with managers, leaders, and subject matter experts in a variety of business, functional and technology areas. Ability to gain alignment between the technology and business strategy by proactive partnering with all levels.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree with 3-5 years of related professional experience in a large international organization.
