AppleCare Digital is looking for a dynamic Program Manager to build, deliver and maintain internal communications and organizational effectiveness programs for a world-wide organization. This person will be at different times a writer, project manager, storyteller, and communication authority. In addition, this person will play a critical role understanding the team and organizational dynamics - building programs that improve organizational effectiveness, that ensure team members and partners are informed and engaged, and that reinforces our values and culture. This may include employee engagement, change management, coaching, mentoring and leadership development, and communication strategies. This role is located in Austin, Texas.

Key Qualifications

  • 5+ years in employee or internal communications for high tech
  • 5+ years program management experience
  • Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills, to all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated passion for audience experience, design, written and rich media communications, and knowledge of how to use each to achieve communication goals
  • Passion for what makes Apple “Apple,” and the ability to reflect it in all communications
  • Strong leadership with emphasis on collaboration, proactive, flexible, can-do attitude
  • A phenomenal communicator with the ability to understand what is important to different audiences, distill communications to the essential details of what’s happening, and clearly and consistently articulate why it matters
  • Ability to drive multiple projects simultaneously and taking ideas successfully from concept to delivery
  • Ability to personally deliver large scale initiatives, with high levels of complexity and ambiguity
  • A strong listener who seeks to understand before forming a recommendation, and can distinguish what is really important and relevant from what is not
  • An effective change-agent who focuses on improving what’s working, but is unafraid to challenge the status quo and drive to change for things that are not
  • A proactive problem solver with a bias toward continuous improvement

You are a collaborative, hardworking, high energy Program Manager who thrives in an exciting, fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment. You will be responsible for crafting, implementing, and monitoring the communication strategy for AppleCare Digital that informs, educates, motivates and inspires employees. You will assist in building and publishing a wide-variety of materials such as web content, email campaigns and newsletters, and presentations as well as supporting AC Digital all hands meetings, on-boarding strategies and training, and announcements. In addition, you will drive the creation and execution of programs designed to monitor team health and organizational efficiency by identifying gaps in talent, recognizing key talent, and providing experiences for employees to drive their career. You will collaborate and partner across the AppleCare Digital organization to roll out activities that develop and build employee engagement and strengthen team culture and values. You will have a proven record of demonstrating integrity, fostering trust, and obsessing over the customer experience, while working for the success of the entire team.

Education & Experience

Bachelors degree; Graduate degree strongly preferred 5+ years of relevant work experience, global experience a plus
