- Solid grasp of computer science fundamentals
- Experienced with existing compute cloud infrastructure technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, network programming, Unix and system programming would be a plus
- Superior communication & interpersonal skills
Our team is looking for a passionate backend or full stack engineer to help build our next generation services platform supporting millions of users and best-in-class features. The ideal candidate is pragmatic, self motivated, capable of operating in an environment with low overhead and has a strong desire to learn and develop technical expertise and leadership along side our other engineers. As a member of this team, you will: • Design and develop robust scalable software for large scale computing • Participate in all phases of product development; Product Definition, Design implementation, debugging and testing • Performance optimization • Maintenance of existing software • Work with highly cross functional teams Your contributions will have a major impact on well-established but fast-moving software used and loved by millions of people to get things done at home, in their communities and their jobs. iWork engineers have exposure to nearly every technology available on Apple’s platforms, get to ship code targeting many of our products, and get to learn from the many experienced people on our team. You’ll be trusted to work with your teammates to come up with the best solutions to technical problems and drive their adoption, and will make use of code review, automated testing, and other tools to help make sure your code meets our goals for code and customer quality.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree, or equivalent work experience.
