Apple Retail is looking for a highly motivated individual to join the Retail Market Development team to play a key role in defining, building and operating commercial programs that drive upgrades and customer retention across Apple Retail and delight our customers. The ideal candidate will be a passionate leader who can set a clear vision and bring it to life through working cross-functionally across Apple Retail and other areas of Apple, Inc.

Key Qualifications

  • 7+ years of relevant business development, management consulting, and/or strategic operations experience, MBA preferred
  • Strong customer focus and obsessive about the details
  • Strategic thinking to plan for short, medium and long term programs and initiatives
  • Ability to lead the team and help them through complex projects
  • Big-picture thinker with a strong desire to move the needle and drive results
  • Superb negotiation skills and partner management
  • Ability to create storylines/presentations
  • Ability to organize and mobilize others towards a common goal
  • Resilient with positive outlook
  • Not afraid to dig into the numbers, comfort with excel and ability to lead an analyst
  • Experience in CRM, upgrade, loyalty programs a plus

Description

In this role, you will develop the future vision, strategy, and growth initiatives for our upgrade/retention programs (i.e. iPhone Upgrade Program). Research industry level trends and market insights and liaise with our regional teams to be the subject matter expert to identify opportunities for the program and help define strategic direction and priorities for the program. Create compelling stories to share with leadership. Play a key role in launching new programs/enhancements globally with cross-functional teams and ensure principles and goals of programs are reflected in business requirements Set quarterly and annual business priorities, performance targets, and KPIs Build and develop a high functioning team Engage, collaborate, and develop strong cross-functional relationships throughout Apple Retail and Apple Inc. to achieve program objectives Know your business and the market landscape three why’s deep

Education & Experience

MBA preferred
