Our team is responsible for the design, implementation, and engineering support for the infrastructure that provides the mail service to our customers. Key Qualifications

  • Experience leading a team of highly skilled engineers from project inception to ship
  • History of hiring and developing excellent engineers
  • Ability to work cross-functionally within an organization and across the different groups within a company
  • Flexibility to represent the team and its technology in the right level of detail in different contexts
  • Skill to accurately scope and drive product features, build functional specifications, and development schedules
  • Minimum of 5+ years experience managing engineering team

We are looking for an extremely capable manager who has a strong background in delivering/shipping product preferably in a services environment. In this position, the successful candidate will lead a team that is responsible for design and development with the goal of continually improving iCloud’s mail offering.

Education & Experience

BS in computer science or equivalent experience

  • Mail systems/architectures a plus
  • Familiarity with modern server technologies a plus (e.g., async, non-blocking IO, etc.)
