An outstanding opportunity has arisen for an experienced HR professional to join our Talent Mobility Immigration team. In this role, you will act as a Strategic Subject Matter Expert (SME) partnering with HR, Recruiting and the Business to advise, help lead and support immigration strategies and their compliant execution. This role will support new and existing foreign national talent, primarily in the Americas. Key Qualifications

  • Strong subject matter expertise, extensive immigration, relocation and program management experience throughout the US and AMR region
  • Successful track record of partnering with all levels of clients and partners (HR, Recruiting, Business leaders, etc.)
  • Ability to approach immigration with an innovative lens that strategically supports business need, development, and growth whilst ensuring compliance
  • Provide SME level support and advice on immigration-related issues with experience in adapting to the geopolitical and cultural variations
  • Proven experience in analyzing large quantities of data, from multiple sources in different formats, including reconciliation for data integrity
  • Expertise working in multi-tiered global/talent mobility programs with deep experience in compliance, policy coordination, process improvement and vendor management
  • Proficiency in core professional skills including: attention to detail, , follow-though, flexibility, and handling confidential information appropriately and professionally
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate, prioritize, and handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Strong business presentation skills
  • Personal international work experience is a significant advantage

Specific responsibilities and requirements of this role include: Communication: Ability to exchange information and present ideas, report facts and other information in a strategic, clear and concise manner by ensuring comms that are broad based / executive level and/or smaller in nature depending on the various circumstances. Management: Oversight of the day to day relationships and operations of vendors and stakeholders to ensure delivery service to Apple’s exacting standards by holding vendors accountable via survey measurements, vendor trainings, QBRs, etc. Business Partner: Understanding various business line nuances in order to partner with stakeholder (HR, Recruiting, the business, etc), advising on appropriate immigration options (based on compliance, business need, candidate flexibility, cost considerations and equitable treatment of our people) that take into account short, mid and long term impact for Apple’s business and people both regionally and globally. Project Management: Develop, scope, lead and drive various projects as needed including new country expansion initiatives, various elements of fluid immigration reform and communicating impact to the organization. Relationships: Develop and cultivate professional, consultative relationships across all levels and functions internal and external to Apple. Critical thinking: Able to assess information, anticipate issues and outcomes, and provide flexible solutions to complex and unique problems.

Education & Experience

Minimum of BA/BS or equivalent is required 8 to 10+ years of experience
