As part of the Worldwide AppleCare organization, based in Cupertino, the AppleCare US Carrier Channel Sales Manager will be responsible for the growth of the AppleCare business within our US carrier partners. AppleCare is seeking a skilled sales professional with account management experience who will work closely with both the carriers and internal channel sales teams to drive AppleCare sales. The primary role will be to deeply understand the overall channel strategy and account plan for each of our main carrier partners in order to provide additional value to the account sales team by driving AppleCare sales through new deal constructs, product awareness, partnering on sales enablement, sales performance communication, incentives, sales training, etc. This position reports directly to the AppleCare Americas Sales Director and acts as an extended team member of the Apple Carrier sales team with primary focus to understand sales trends, strategy, increase mindshare, and partner to drive awareness and identify new ways to sell-in and promote AppleCare within the accounts.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum of 10+ years business development and account management experience in the Telecom industry with proven success selling in a services or insurance sales environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work in complex environments with multi-partner engagement
  • Proven ability to influence internal sales teams and channel partners using strong relationship and communication skills
  • Ability to acclimate quickly to add value to the sales teams by partnering to deliver standard and custom service/support solutions to a variety of reseller and business customers
  • Demonstrated strength in negotiating complex contracts and partnerships
  • Ability to navigate highly matrixed organizations both internally and externally
  • Develop and influence relationships with senior-level Apple sales executives to support AppleCare sales goals
  • Excellent leadership and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate professional presentation and analytical skills
  • Evaluate and analyze reporting performance data on a regular basis
  • Ability to demonstrate a track record of exceeding sales targets
  • Communicate concisely and clearly, both orally and in written form

Description

You have a demonstrated track record to manage national accounts, cross functional projects and have the ability to manage relationships at all levels. You have excellent presentation and partner management skills, and thrive in a rapid paced environment and a culture that relies on teamwork. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: - Collaborate deeply with the Carrier Sales team; act as an extended team member integrated into all aspects of the account to drive AppleCare awareness, revenue and growth - Optimize and negotiate solutions that require to work with carrier and insurance partners - Work closely with AppleCare Business Development Sales Enablement and Product Management teams to support our partners with the proper tools - Develop strategic sales campaigns, promotions and programs designed to improve AppleCare sales - Identify the AppleCare field sales strategy and implementation plan - Maintain a strong understanding of Apple’s service and support business and policies - Collaborate and influence senior-level Apple executives to support AppleCare sales goals - Work with AppleCare extended teams on service/support operational and administrative issues - Build and lead your team, assembling the right people, motivating them, enabling them with the right tools and supporting their collaboration. - Develop and maintain strong working relationships with Senior AppleCare Management and Sales management teams - Demonstrate success in interacting with and achieving results from internal and external senior executives - Passion for customer experience and for delivering the best support experience

Education & Experience

MBA in business or related field preferred
