The Programming team is responsible for Creative Strategy and Project Management of all pitches and live projects delivered by the Brand Experience division for Apple Services. As a Senior Project Lead you will work alongside a group of Producers, Creatives and cross-functional teams to deliver experiential activations, live events, broadcast events and other artist-led projects that form part of broader Apple Music marketing campaigns. This position requires a deep level of knowledge and passion for music and a self-motivated, highly collaborative approach with strong communication and leadership skills.
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in a Senior Project Management role. International experience preferred.
- Proven experience in the delivery of music based experiential campaigns, live events and broadcast events.
- Demonstrable experience of working with talent of all levels to program unique events, experiences and shows.
- Able to respond and adapt to the needs of a highly matrixed organization and ensure deliverables meet high standard and adhere to business and marketing objectives at all times.
- Exceptional attention to detail, while still working under tight deadlines.
- Proficient in Keynote, Microsoft Office, Pages and Numbers.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Senior Project Lead across multiple live projects, responsible for the delivery of live events and experiential marketing activations to support the business objectives set with, and by, the Apple Music marketing teams. A passion for new technologies, innovations and audience trends including immersive experiences, theatre, set build and VR/AR. Ensure we deliver a consistent pipeline of Industry-leading experiences and activations. Help to define and lead experiential programming strategy for Apple Music. Receive, identify and write briefs ensuring all work is part of a clear plan and roadmap, with clearly defined return on investment and project deliverables before work begins. Partner, engage and collaborate with the Creative and Production teams, other cross-functional teams across the business and external third parties and partners to deliver complex International projects. Serve as a lead contact for our internal clients and ensure we deliver a high standard of client service and project management at all times. Be an on-site client facing lead at events. Ensure the whole team follows consistent project management systems which you will set up at the start of each project, including timelines, status / contact reports and other project management documentation. Set up and lead meetings, ensuring all meetings have a clear agenda, purpose and follow up. Manage all project deliverables and ensure they are signed off in writing by all clients and partners. Guarantee that contingency plans and responses are in place to ensure that the team delivers against the objectives set out in the original brief, even when working in changing circumstances. Take ownership of pitch presentations and decks, working with other team members as the need arises. Regularly update the decks, share and save in a consistent way. Help to prepare for and run creative review sessions with cross functional teams, pulling together all assets required for an effective project kick off. Collaborate with teams to integrate the Apple Services ecosystem into event programming plans and campaigns. This role reports into the Head of Programming.
Education & Experience
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience preferred.
