Key Qualifications

  • Track record of building and managing high-performance teams
  • Experience with distributed systems in a production operations environment
  • Advanced experience with programming languages (Java, GoLang, Python, C++)
  • Experience with SRE goals, processes and culture
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver solutions that are easily maintainable, understandable, and diagnosable
  • Able to write clear and consumable documentation
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively across multiple business and technical teams
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver results on time with high quality

Description

We are looking to hire outstanding managers to join our team of Site Reliability Engineers. You will run the Apple services that millions of customers use every day. You’ll also build and run the infrastructure that powers those services. SRE owns Apple’s internet services and operates the full stack underneath them. We’re looking for people who like to solve operational problems using software rather than shell prompts as we scale Apple’s services for customers around the world. Help us build the Apple experience on a global scale! Responsibilities will include: Building software and systems to manage infrastructure and applications through automation Deployment, support and monitoring of existing and new services, platforms, and application stacks Measurement and optimization of system performance and availability Capacity planning and management Explore and evaluate new technologies and solutions to push our capabilities forward and solve tomorrow’s problems not just today’s

Education & Experience

BS/MS in Computer Science or Equivalent
