Apple is looking for a Senior Employee Relations Consultant who will provide advice and direction regarding employee relations (ER) matters to executives, managers, and employees throughout the organization. Key objectives for this team include ensuring legal compliance and adherence to Apple policies is met in a consistent, objective and fair fashion. To meet these objectives, this recognized technical employee relations expert will partner closely with the HR-line organization, management, Employee Relations Business Partners, as well as Employment counsel in working employee relations cases.

Key Qualifications

  • 10+ years related HR experience
  • 7+ years experience leading sensitive and complicated employee relations issues
  • Large corporation HR/ER experience is helpful
  • Knowledge of local, state and federal employment law and regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal skills required


You will have the skills and experience to successfully perform the following job responsibilities: - Identify, analyze and implement resolutions to complex and highly sensitive ER situations, including unusual circumstances where precedents for resolution are unavailable. - Advise and influence all levels of management regarding critical and complex employee relations decisions, e.g.: performance management, harassment, business conduct, terminations, restructuring, and HR policies, guidelines and practices. These decisions may have critical impact on the organization and involve a large degree of risk. - Evaluate and review employee related decisions in response to employee concerns. - Conduct investigations regarding potential misconduct and policy violations. - Conduct workplace violence assessments and implement response plans as needed. - Develop, communicate and implement company-wide employee relations programs, policies, and procedures. - Conduct training for HR, ER and line management on employee relations topics. - Use ER metrics with clients to determine trends and develop proactive strategies to curb ER issues in the business

Education & Experience

BA/BS or equivalent is preferred
