Wireless Design Test Engineering Program Manager

We are looking for someone like you who is a forward-thinking, motivated and enthusiastic Engineering Program Manager to be a part of Apple’s new product introduction process for iPad from prototype to mass production. - Minimum of 4+ years of relevant industry experience in the RF/Wireless Communications Industry and/or Hardware Technology Company
- Hardware test development or management
- Technical background in Electrical Engineering (wireless preferred)
- Phenomenal interpersonal skills
- Experience working with off-shore manufacturers
- A working understanding of high volume manufacturing process
- Willingness and ability to travel internationally
Wireless Test EPMs are natural communicators and ready multi-functionally with multiple internal and external teams during new product development. Test EPMs drive wireless test planning, test line efficiency, test station budgeting, and test issue resolution with internal teams. They work closely with our contract manufacturing partners to ensure wireless station readiness for build events. The test EPMs also work dedicatedly with our operations team to ensure a successful transition to mass production. Ideally, you are self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities to tackle problems quickly and remove obstacles to build execution. You thrive working in a team with an attentive eye for details. The role will create and track project schedules and also initiate multi-functional communication between project teams and external vendors. You are adept at offering multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management.
Education & Experience
