You’ll serve as a liaison between Apple and the general public, working closely with a variety of teams to develop communications, events, and stories that show the world what really drives our company. Together, we’ll present a consistent voice for Apple that’s timely, accurate, and true to who we are. Through collaboration and focused messaging, you’ll be a key part of representing one of the world’s most prestigious brands to millions of people every single day! The Apple Events team is seeking a senior marketing and event professional. You will bring new marketing ideas to help improve and evolve our ability to connect with key audiences, in particular, creating experiences that are engaging and authentic to our brand. You will have a dedication to delighting customers, employees and partners, uncompromising integrity, and the ability to innovate down to the details to deliver extraordinary physical and virtual experiences.

Key Qualifications

  • Experienced professional with a passion and deep knowledge of the events industry and event planning
  • 15+ years Brand and Event Management consumer experience
  • 5+ years experience at a brand, leading creative projects
  • Global marketing, branding and communications experience
  • Expert social skills, particularly influencing management and conflict resolution
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Budget management, financial tracking and contract negotiations
  • Proactive with strong project management skills
  • Possess extraordinary customer service, clear communication and meticulous attention to detail

Description

Lead, plan, develop and bring to life product experiences to enhance our launch and momentum campaigns, highlighting Apple’s role and leadership in this field. Plan briefings in collaboration with the PR team for key press and influencers, planning for press tours, and developing experience opportunities within the space. Serve as the key Apple owner and segment authority for events including PR tours, partner experience events and influencers to name a few. Track budgets, work with vendors and agencies, provide requirements and oversee implementation of the event/experiences for related launch events, press events and tours. Onsite as well as offsite locations. Collaborate with cross functional teams such as corporate and marketing communications, operations, and finance, to take the project from creation to activation. Develop an annual strategic marketing support plan for high touch guest experiences that range from PR Tours and briefings, influencer events, product launch support and executive events. Create and maintain communications in a harmonious and professional manner with all levels of staff and clients.

Education & Experience

BS/BA degree, MS/MA/MBA preferred.
