Apple’s Engineering Program Management Team is looking for a resourceful, energetic Engineering Project Specialist (EPS) to manage allocations, materials requirements, project finances, manipulate large spread sheets, meet Apple Security requirements and have an understanding of complex Bills of Materials and documentation experience. Requires an individual that works in a fast paced environment, with constant change and demand. Must be proactive to support all job functions. The preferred candidate is a fearless organizer who can prioritize issues and track details to manage the risks associated with the project.

  • Ability to react to re-sets and changes in a time sensitive environment
  • Combination of organizational and detail-oriented skills when working on multiple projects
  • Create, define and structure complex BOMs (preferably for hardware products) Manage materials requirements
  • Experience working with overseas vendors
  • Ability to influence, effectively communicate and drive deadlines with vendors (either CM or part vendors)
  • Some travel required
  • Proficient in MS Excel
  • Understand configuration management


Allocation management Manage Apple Security product requirements Manage materials schedules, deliverables and logistics Oversee shipment notifications Work on multiple spreadsheets and projects simultaneously Support financial budgeting and tracking processes Create Purchase Requisitions and maintain Purchase Order invoice reconciliations, including Goods Receipts Create, manage and process Engineering Change Requests Create part numbers, structure, read and interpret complex BOM’s (Bill of Materials)

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or 3+ years of industry experience
