We’re currently growing our Product & Design team to create new and better experiences across our services. As part of that effort, we’re looking for a UX Writer to join us and focus on Partner Experiences — helping ambitious creators find new audiences using the Apple ecosystem. The UX Writing arm of our Design team works on all our services, including ones that are currently available and ones that are just barely being imagined. You’ll be crafting features for people all over the world as you collaborate with functions across the company to create thoughtful and thorough user experiences.

  • Are adept at orchestrating and improving copy development processes
  • Can write from scratch, edit existing copy, and think beyond the written word with input from multiple team members

  • Possess 5+ years experience working with UX copy or other forms of interactive writing

Description

You'll be responsible for many things, including: - Shaping the tone, language, and design system for the tools (eg. Apple Music for Artists, etc) and platforms (eg. App Store, Apple News, etc) that Developers, Resellers, Publishers, and Partners use to build their businesses/followings - Working on feature development, naming, user flows, product logic, and education - Contributing to and implementing style guides and shared nomenclature across Apple services - Converging customer goals, business requirements, and brand values - Boiling down complex systems into coherent, concise, and compelling interface copy - Collaborating with designers to uncover and solve UI challenges - Addressing feedback and improving performance of our content - Spending time with QA, Legal, and Localization teams to ensure content appears properly for every audience - Working with cross-functional partners and senior leadership — as well as external partners themselves — to understand business challenges and find creative solutions

Education & Experience

BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
