Key Qualifications

  • 5+ Years of technical management experience
  • Prior experience with managed services and infrastructure
  • Knowledge of distributed systems concepts
  • Experience with project management methodologies like Agile
  • Ability to contribute to technical design and discussion and set technical direction
  • Experience in managing production critical systems and services


The ACI Batch team is looking for an engineering manager to drive several key areas of technology development and service maintenance. The ACI Batch team builds and maintains core infrastructure for a variety of internal customers, including scheduling, storage, metrics, and data center operations. This ideal candidate is an experienced technical manager who can work closely with peer teams on cross-functional efforts and drive their engineering staff to maintain high-quality bar. In this role, you will: • Manage and grow the storage and networking teams within our organization • Maintain a roadmap of work and • Collaborate with other ACI groups on key initiatives and deliverables • Contribute to hiring and leadership within the team • Drive adoption of a strong engineering process

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience

Additional Requirements

  • • Familiarity with distributed storage systems (HDFS, Amazon S3) a plus
  • • Familiarity with configuration management tools (Puppet, Salt, etc.) a plus
  • • Familiarity with Kubernetes a plus
