The Channel Interactive Technology team manages a suite of systems and tools that enable world-class in-store demo experiences for Apple customers worldwide. As QA Manager, your focus will be leading all aspects of platform and software QA related to our Over The Air (OTA) solutions. These OTA platforms run demo devices used by millions of customers in Apple Channel stores worldwide. You will work to identify and resolve key issues in a multifaceted, fast-paced environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience directly managing Quality Assurance Engineers
  • 8+ years proven experience in software Quality Assurance required
  • 5+ years successful experience in developing and automating using scripting and coding languages
  • (Python, JavaScript, Swift, C++, C#, ObjectiveC, SQL etc.)
  • Expert user of macOS and iOS, Apple Apps and services (i.e. iCloud), and Apple hardware
  • Experience leading systems quality testing
  • Seasoned in designing functional and regression testing and writing test cases
  • Deep understanding of software development and the QA lifecycle
  • Ability to provide guidance, direction and supervise the day-to-day function of a team of QA Engineers
  • Proven leadership skills, with an ability to work autonomously and empower cross-functional team members
  • Experience identifying gaps in the requirements or testing processes and able to generate solutions for continuous improvement
  • Superb attention to detail with excellent communication and organizational skills; outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment, prioritize multiple projects under tight deadlines and have flexibility to change course based on business needs or environmental conditions
  • Experience with Apple device management tools such as MDM Profile Manager, and Configurator 2 a strong plus


Design end-to-end functional and regression test programs for technical business systems Implement standard methodology QA test methodologies, processes and tools, including automation Lead the team through ad-hoc and structured tests every day Summarize test findings, analyze data, and lead bug reporting Lead communication with all Engineering development teams Develop technical documentation including training, installation and FAQs Drive quality out of the QA organization including establishing appropriate briefing process, kick-off, radar tracking and critical issue, and regression plans Act as first level issue for QA needs

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering preferred
