Apple is looking for a natural collaborator and exceptional project manager who is enthusiastic about creating an environment where people come to do their best work. As part of the Design Ops team within the Services Product & Design organization you will drive the execution of programs developed to enhance the employee experience for our global product management and multi-disciplinary design teams. With a direct impact on many key milestones throughout an employee’s journey, this is a role for a creative thinker, problem solver, and implementer who wants to contribute and lead on several fronts at once. This person is approachable while simultaneously driving detailed operational deliverables across a variety of programs and projects, from annual headcount planning and hiring, to employee development and retention. In this role you will heavily collaborate with employees and leadership across the Product & Design organization, as well as partner teams such as Recruiting and HR. We are an international organization, with our main hubs in Silicon Valley and Culver City, as well as smaller hubs in London and Singapore. As such, some travel will be necessary.

  • Willingness to see challenging projects through completion and shown ability to work well with others under pressure
  • 4+ years in Program Management, Project Management, Studio Management or a comparable role


- Own the day-to-day project management of design ops programs such as annual staff planning, hiring, new employee onboarding, learning/development, culture and retention - Assist in the development of new programs designed to provide an excellent employee experience to all of our incredibly diverse teams within Product & Design - Provide both regular and on-demand reporting on our programs, gathering data from multiple resources, organizing, analyzing and presenting in a way that allows for important discussions and decision making - Play a lead role in the rollout of processes and tools for Product & Design employees, managers and partner teams - Collaborate and partner closely with outside teams such as Recruiting and HR on a daily basis - Develop systems, methodologies and tools to create efficiencies in our workflow and that of the business - Leverage your relationships, influencing and negotiating skills to secure resources required to get the work done

Education & Experience

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

  • - Knowledge and ease working in collaboration tools (ex: Quip, Slack)
  • - Flexibility in schedule, allowing you to work with employees across timezones
  • - Experience collaborating and driving projects with distributed teams preferred (ie - not all in one location)
